Healthy Aggies will be conducting food sampling at the UC Davis Farmers Market each Wednesday between 11am and 1:30pm on the North Quad. We will be doing a simple recipe each week as well as sampling and talking about the UC Davis Olive oil and vinegars that are for sale at the market.
Things to know:
It is important to have fun with it and use your passion to engage the community as the peruse the market.
It is possible that the event will be cancelled with rain. I will do my bet to make sure you know ahead of time, via text/email, when the market has been cancelled due to weather.
Things to know:
- We will be setting up a large tent with tarp floor and net sidings each Wednesday at 10:45am and taking it down when we're finished at around 1:30pm. The tent and tables for the event are delivered to the site and back to storage after the event by UC Davis Stores personnel. So we just do set-up and take down.
- We will get our supplies from the Coffee House on a cart that we'll wheel out after we set up our space.
- Please arrive at the site with your hair restrained in a ponytail or bun. There will be handwashing at he site.
